Abgeschoben. Perspektiven von Roma zwischen Deutschland und Osteuropa.

Um 15.00 Uhr startet das Frauencafé.

Ab 19:00 Uhr laden wir ein zu ABGESCHOBEN – Perspektiven von Roma zwischen Deutschland und Osteuropa, einem Gesprächsabend in Kooperation mit der Gruppe Anti.Romaismus.

Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung stellen wir Ergebnisse aus über zehn Jahren journalistischer, juristischer und medizinischer Recherchen vor – mit Berichten Betroffener, Fotos und Video-Clips. Die vorgestellte Langzeitdokumentation beleuchtet die Situation von Roma nach Abschiebungen u. a. aus Deutschland, Frankreich und Belgien nach Serbien und macht langfristige Folgen von Migrationsabwehr sichtbar.
Abschiebung bedeutet für viele Roma und Romnja nicht Sicherheit, sondern erneute Ausgrenzung, Rechtlosigkeit und fehlende Perspektiven. Langjährige Recherchen der Recherchegruppe Dokuplus zeigen: Nur wenigen gelingt es nach einer Abschiebung, ein stabiles Leben aufzubauen. Besonders alleinstehende Frauen und Kinder sind häufig dauerhaft von Armut, Papierlosigkeit und Illegalisierung betroffen.
Die Einstufung von Staaten wie Serbien als „sichere Herkunftsländer“ blendet die reale Diskriminierung von Roma ebenso aus wie ihre historische Verfolgung – insbesondere während des Nationalsozialismus. Migration wird so für viele zu einem unfreiwilligen Kreislauf ohne sichere Ankunft.
Der Abend richtet sich sowohl an Menschen, die sich erstmals mit dem Thema beschäftigen möchten, als auch an alle, die tiefergehende Einblicke suchen.

Starting at 7 p.m., we invite you to ABGESCHOBEN – Perspectives of Roma between Germany and Eastern Europe, an evening discussion in cooperation with the Anti.Romaismus group.

During the event, we will present the results of over ten years of journalistic, legal and medical research – with reports from those affected, photos and video clips. The long-term documentary presented sheds light on the situation of Roma after deportations from Germany, France and Belgium to Serbia, among other places, and highlights the long-term consequences of migration defence.
For many Roma men and women, deportation does not mean safety, but renewed exclusion, lawlessness and a lack of prospects. Many years of research by the Dokuplus research group show that only a few manage to build a stable life after deportation. Single women and children in particular are often permanently affected by poverty, lack of documentation and illegalisation.
The classification of countries such as Serbia as ‘safe countries of origin’ ignores the real discrimination against Roma as well as their historical persecution – especially during National Socialism. For many, migration thus becomes an involuntary cycle with no safe arrival.
The evening is aimed both at people who want to explore the topic for the first time and at those who are looking for more in-depth insights.
