Jeden Montag könnt ihr uns ab 15 Uhr im Kleinen Haus besuchen, bei freiem Eintritt inklusive Getränke, Suppe und Kulturprogramm.
Ab 15 Uhr findet das Frauencafé statt.
Ab 19 Uhr wird’s süß! Wer nach all den Weihnachtsplätzchen immer noch nicht genug hat, ist bei uns genau richtig – denn an diesem Abend dreht sich alles um Schokolade.
Gemeinsam mit Andrea Rudolph, Kustodin des Stadtmuseeums Dresden, tauchen wir ein in die Kultur- und Wirtschaftsgeschichte einer süßen Versuchung: Wusstet ihr, dass Dresden im 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhundert die „Hauptstadt der deutschen Schokoladenindustrie“ war? Hier entstanden nicht nur berühmte Marken, sondern auch die Maschinen, die Schokolade in Form brachten.
Wir sprechen über Genuss, Erfindungsgeist und den Weg von Kakao und Zucker bis in die Dresdner Fabriken – und natürlich darf auch auch genascht werden.
Ein Abend für alle Schokofans, Stadtgeschichtsliebhaber*innen und Naschkatzen!

Together with the Dresden City Museum, we’ll dive into the cultural and economic history of this sweet temptation: did you know that Dresden was the ‘capital of the German chocolate industry’ in the 19th and early 20th centuries? Not only were famous brands created here, but also the machines that shaped chocolate.
We will talk about enjoyment, inventiveness and the journey of cocoa and sugar to the factories in Dresden – and, of course, there will be plenty of opportunities to sample some delicious treats.
