Parus Cinereus features ambisonic 360 degrees soundscapes, live vocals, sampled ancient Belarusian acoustic instruments, synthesizers and analogue sound processing gear.
Field recordings which where recorded in the villages, national parks and bogs of Belarus – places where Belarusian folklore music was born immerse the listener to the authentic sonic landscape. The songs where collected during ethnographic expeditions in remote territories of the country by folklorist and singer – Anna Selivonchik and are sung on the ancient Belarusian language by her.
