„Anti-Authoritarians at War“, a documentary by Manon Boltansky and Nico Dix, was filmed in summer 2024 in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Izium. It follows the people behind the Solidarity Collectives, both those at the forefront and those working behind the scenes. The film illustrates how people make everyday decisions under extreme pressure and how grassroots, non-hierarchical organizing persists even during war.
The film looks at difficult choices, organizing under fire, and solidarity that goes beyond borders.
SOLIDARITY COLLECTIVES is a network of volunteers and activists who support people affected by the war in Ukraine. SC provides humanitarian aid, medical supplies, evacuation support, protective gear, and logistics. Their work is based on mutual aid, horizontal organizing, and international solidarity.
