Oc tober 2025\ndaily 3-6 pm\nat Hole of Fame\, Königsbrückerstr. 39\, 01099 Dresden\n\nAugust 9\, 2025 marked five years since the uprising in Belaru s against Lukashenko’s authoritarian regime. The biggest uprising Belaru s had seen since its independence. All parts of the society took to the st reets. Since then\, people in Belarus have been persecuted for participati ng in the protests and sent to prisons and camps. The repression continues to this day. At the beginning of September 1187 people were counted as po litical prisoners.\n\nWe would like to take this anniversary as an opportu nity to look back at what happened then and how the repression continues t o affect people today.\n\nIn a photo exhibition\, we show the first three nights of the protests in 2020 and the reaction to the massive police viol ence. We look at specific social groups that participated in the protests and the importance of neighborhood meetings in the uprising. Furthermore\, the exhibition shows the extent to which anarchist groups were involved i n the events. And the perspective of those imprisoned will be represented through their artistic work created in prison. Au gust 2025 jährte sich zum fünften Mal der Aufstand in Belarus gegen das autoritäre Regime von Lukaschenko. Es war der größte Aufstand\, den Bel arus seit seiner Unabhängigkeit erlebt hatte. Alle Teile der Gesellschaft gingen auf die Straße. Seitdem werden Menschen in Belarus wegen ihrer Te ilnahme an den Protesten verfolgt und in Gefängnisse und Strafkolonien ge schickt. Die Unterdrückung dauert bis heute an. Anfang September wurden 1 187 Menschen als politische Gefangene gezählt\, aber die tatsächlichen Z ahlen sind viel höher\nWir möchten diesen Jahrestag zum Anlass nehmen\, um zurückzublicken auf die damaligen Ereignisse und darauf\, wie die Repr essionen die Menschen bis heute beeinflussen.\nIn einer Fotoausstellung ze igen wir die ersten drei Nächte der Proteste im Jahr 2020 und die Reaktio n auf die massive Polizeigewalt. Wir betrachten bestimmte soziale Gruppen\ , die an den Protesten teilgenommen haben\, und die Bedeutung von Nachbars chaftstreffen für den Aufstand. Darüber hinaus zeigt die Ausstellung\, i nwieweit anarchistische Gruppen an den Ereignissen beteiligt waren. Die Pe rspektive der Inhaftierten wird durch ihre künstlerischen Arbeiten\, die im Gefängnis entstanden sind\, dargestellt.
