Th e biggest uprising Belarus had seen since its independence. All parts of t he society took to the streets. Since then\, people in Belarus have been p ersecuted for participating in the protests and sent to prisons and camps. The repression continues to this day. At the beginning of September 1187 people were counted as political prisoners.\n\nWe would like to take this anniversary as an opportunity to look back at what happened then and how t he repression continues to affect people today.\n\nIn a photo exhibition\, we show the first three nights of the protests in 2020 and the reaction t o the massive police violence. We look at specific social groups that part icipated in the protests and the importance of neighborhood meetings in th e uprising. Furthermore\, the exhibition shows the extent to which anarchi st groups were involved in the events. And the perspective of those impris oned will be represented through their artistic work created in prison. August 2025 jährte sich zum fünften Mal der Aufst and in Belarus gegen das autoritäre Regime von Lukaschenko. Es war der gr ößte Aufstand\, den Belarus seit seiner Unabhängigkeit erlebt hatte. Al le Teile der Gesellschaft gingen auf die Straße. Seitdem werden Menschen in Belarus wegen ihrer Teilnahme an den Protesten verfolgt und in Gefängn isse und Strafkolonien geschickt. Die Unterdrückung dauert bis heute an. Anfang September wurden 1187 Menschen als politische Gefangene gezählt\, aber die tatsächlichen Zahlen sind viel höher\nWir möchten diesen Jahre stag zum Anlass nehmen\, um zurückzublicken auf die damaligen Ereignisse und darauf\, wie die Repressionen die Menschen bis heute beeinflussen.\nIn einer Fotoausstellung zeigen wir die ersten drei Nächte der Proteste im Jahr 2020 und die Reaktion auf die massive Polizeigewalt. Wir betrachten b estimmte soziale Gruppen\, die an den Protesten teilgenommen haben\, und d ie Bedeutung von Nachbarschaftstreffen für den Aufstand. Darüber hinaus zeigt die Ausstellung\, inwieweit anarchistische Gruppen an den Ereignisse n beteiligt waren. Die Perspektive der Inhaftierten wird durch ihre künst lerischen Arbeiten\, die im Gefängnis entstanden sind\, dargestellt.
