DESCRIPTION:On 19 March\, Istanbul's mayor\, Ekrem İmamoğlu\, was detaine
 d on charges including corruption and alleged ties to terrorism. His subse
 quent arrest sparked nationwide protests—the largest in over a decade—
 with over 2\,000 people detained including students\, journalists\, women 
 and LGBTQ+ activists. Authorities used tear gas\, rubber bullets\, and wat
 er cannons unlawfully to disperse demonstrators\, it was also reported tha
 t there has been sexual harassment\, physical abuse during the mass detent
 ions. Social media platforms faced restrictions\, and journalists covering
  the events were targeted.\n\nAt our next open Kurdistan circle we are goi
 ng to talk about what has been going on at the protests from a feminist pe
 rspective with the attendance of our friend\, who was active within the mo
 vement as a Kurdish feminist lawyer who recently moved from Turkey to Germ
