SUMMARY:Plastik! Vom globalen Problem zur Ressource. im Montagscafé
DESCRIPTION:Willkommen im Herzen der Stadt - Welcome to the heart of the ci
ty! (English below)-------------------------Jeden Montag könnt ihr uns ab
Was kann "Bio"
wechselndem Programm-------------------------Every Monday\, you can visit
us at the Kleines Haus from 3 pm\; entry is free and so are the drinks\,
soup and cultural programme.\nToday we’re focusing on plastic!\n\nAn upc
ycling workshop will take place at the Frauencafé from 3.00 pm.\n\nFrom 6
.00 pm\, in collaboration with the Heinrich Böll Foundation\, there will
 be a film\, a talk and a rallye on the topic!\n\nWe live in a world full o
f plastic: by 2025\, around 12 billion tonnes of plastic will have been pr
oduced worldwide. And year on year\, this figure continues to rise. The va
st majority of this plastic isn’t recycled. No\, it ends up in rivers\,
lakes and seas\, and in our soil.\nBut do you actually know where plastic
is hiding? A plastic bottle is easy to spot – but we’ve put together a
‘plastic rally’ for you\, featuring items that you certainly won’t
immediately associate with plastic! These objects will spark a discussion:
Why is plastic so popular\, and why is it so integral to so many products
? What does ‘organic’ mean when it comes to plastic? And who would act
ually want to flood the Earth with plastic?\n\nBut we also want to explore
possible solutions: Die Plastikschmiede will show you the potential of re
cycling and how plastic can be reused!\n\nEntrance is free\, but donations
are welcome!\n\nWe look forward to seeing you!\n\nHere’s what you can e
xpect every Monday at the Monday Café:3.00 pm – 5.00 pm: International
 Women’s Café with a children’s play area5.00 pm – 7.00 pm: Legal co
nsultations with various initiatives5.00 pm – 10.00 pm: Open café with
 a programme that changes weekly
