October 2025\ndaily 3-6 pm\ nat Hole of Fame\, Königsbrückerstr. 39\, 01099 Dresden\n\nAugust 9\, 20 25 marked five years since the uprising in Belarus against Lukashenko’s authoritarian regime. The biggest uprising Belarus had seen since its inde pendence. All parts of the society took to the streets. Since then\, peopl e in Belarus have been persecuted for participating in the protests and se nt to prisons and camps. The repression continues to this day. At the begi nning of September 1187 people were counted as political prisoners.\n\nWe would like to take this anniversary as an opportunity to look back at what happened then and how the repression continues to affect people today.\n\ nIn a photo exhibition\, we show the first three nights of the protests in 2020 and the reaction to the massive police violence. We look at specific social groups that participated in the protests and the importance of nei ghborhood meetings in the uprising. Furthermore\, the exhibition shows the extent to which anarchist groups were involved in the events. And the per spective of those imprisoned will be represented through their artistic wo rk created in prison. August 2025 jährte sich zu m fünften Mal der Aufstand in Belarus gegen das autoritäre Regime von Lu kaschenko. Es war der größte Aufstand\, den Belarus seit seiner Unabhän gigkeit erlebt hatte. Alle Teile der Gesellschaft gingen auf die Straße. Seitdem werden Menschen in Belarus wegen ihrer Teilnahme an den Protesten verfolgt und in Gefängnisse und Strafkolonien geschickt. Die Unterdrücku ng dauert bis heute an. Anfang September wurden 1187 Menschen als politisc he Gefangene gezählt\, aber die tatsächlichen Zahlen sind viel höher\nW ir möchten diesen Jahrestag zum Anlass nehmen\, um zurückzublicken auf d ie damaligen Ereignisse und darauf\, wie die Repressionen die Menschen bis heute beeinflussen.\nIn einer Fotoausstellung zeigen wir die ersten drei Nächte der Proteste im Jahr 2020 und die Reaktion auf die massive Polizei gewalt. Wir betrachten bestimmte soziale Gruppen\, die an den Protesten te ilgenommen haben\, und die Bedeutung von Nachbarschaftstreffen für den Au fstand. Darüber hinaus zeigt die Ausstellung\, inwieweit anarchistische G ruppen an den Ereignissen beteiligt waren. Die Perspektive der Inhaftierte n wird durch ihre künstlerischen Arbeiten\, die im Gefängnis entstanden sind\, dargestellt.
