 larus rose up against dictatorship of Alexander Lukashenko and for months 
 tried to get rid of authoritarian regime through peaceful demonstrations\,
  direct actions\, strikes and acts of sabotage. The world has changed radi
 cally since that uprising with situation in Belarus becoming even more pre
 carious since russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine.\n\nAt this annive
 rsary we are going to look into the past\, talk about the reality of resis
 tance against russian empire and what were the chances of success for peop
 le in Belarus in 2020 knowing all the plans of Putin at this point of hist
 ory.\n\nThe presentation expects you to have basic knowledge of political 
 situation in Belarus/Russia/Ukraine.
